When it comes time to plug your mobile device into the wall, you could be there a while.
When it comes to cell phone ownership, the majority of us have adopted the habit of plugging in our smartphone battery charger at bedtime, so that we can wake up to a freshly charged device in the morning.
But what happens when you forget to plug it in or need to use your phone more than its battery allows?
Having to plug your smartphone battery charger into the wall (or even into a computer USB port) can mean that you have quite the wait on your hands before you have all of the power you need to get through your day. Depending on the model and the size of the battery, this can mean that you will need to wait from an hour to several hours to charge up your device to the point that it is fully juiced.
A portable smartphone battery charger can help to make sure that you can still remain mobile.
These external battery packs can provide you with the power source that you need, while you’re on the go, without having to stop and wait next to an electrical socket. Many travelers and people who are continually on the go find that they couldn’t live without these devices that aren’t all that big and that can charge their cell phones a couple of times, at least.
At the same time, researchers are always looking to shorten the amount of time that will be needed to actually charge cellular phones. This means that regardless of whether it is plugged into a wall socket or a portable power bank, the time that will be needed to become fully charged will be greatly reduced.
Recently Motorola unveiled its new Turbo Charger that is based on Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
